Explosion at sports centre in Belgium kills at least one and injures four in Chimay

At least one person is believed to have been killed and two others injured following an explosion in Belgium
The blast reportedly occurred shortly after midnight at a sports centre in Chimay in the province of Hainaut.
The cause of the explosion was not immediately known although authorities suspected a gas blast.
"It is probably a gas explosion," an official told Reuters, adding that there was no indication of it being a militant attack.
There are believed to have been a number of people in the building at the time of the blast, which destroyed part of the complex.
Pictures from the scene showed the extent of the damage, with part of the building clearly collapsed.
Rescuers fear more victims may be trapped under rubble, authorities told the HNL.be website.
The sports centre is located on Rue de Chalon.
Belgium and France, along with the rest of Europe, have been on high alert after Islamic State attacks in Paris and Brussels over the past year.
