Putin: US needs vassals, not allies, it doesn't suit Russia

During his annual Q&A session Vladimir Putin said Russia cannot exist in such a system of relations where one super-power tells other what to do, explaining why it’s up to the West to restore good relations with Russia. He added that Moscow wants to maintain ties with all nations, but must be treated as an equal partner.
