Utilize the power of the purse: Before you eat out at a restaurant or make a purchase from a grocery store, market, etc. ask if they sell “Halal Food Products.” If they say “yes,” ask to speak to the manager and let him/her know that you are taking your business elsewhere. Let them know why.
If they say they do not sell Halal food products, be sure to thank them and tell them why.
