The MSK/Seventh Letter Family
Some writers would say that graffiti writers who come out of the shadow of anonymity to take credit and profit from their fame are mainstream sell-outs who have no respect for real illegal graffiti and are looking to make a quick buck at the expense of the underground subculture. Graffiti has recently seen alot of commercial and mainstream exposure and has no doubt been used by greedy companies to sell their products to the youth. Many would argue, and I would agree, that once graffiti art is taken out of the streets and placed into the confines of the art gallery and on canvases for sale, it has ceased to exist as graffiti and then becomes “street art” since the word graffiti is defined as public markings on a surface and is usually in the same category as vandalism. But of course people have to make a living somehow and what better way to make it than to do what you love and profit from your work and fame? It’s a topic that can be debated from both views of “sell-out” vs. “entrepreneur” but that’s not the purpose of this essay. I believe this subculture can and has been affected by the occult symbolism in popular culture and can be used as a branch to the mainstream media’s trunk and it’s subtle path towards Luciferianism and infiltration into our daily lives. I want to look at the symbolism used by the Seventh Letter crew, a group of artists from AWR crew, MSK, and solo artists. I will look at two of it’s most popular members and their use of this symbolism. This freemasonic symbolism is found in their clothing, jewelery, and artwork.
In this video interview with Revok, recognized by many as the most famous member of MSK/The Seventh Letter, he explains The Seventh Letter Crew, their purpose, and we see a freemasonic all seeing eye on a Seventh Letter fitted cap. Revok explains The Seventh Letter represents a collaboration between artists. He says the all seeing eye on the hat he designed is the “pursuit of excellence, knowledge, and understanding of all things.” Knowledge, or gnosis, is the key concept in the ancient Gnostic philosophy and many of it’s teachings have been passed down through mystery schools and secret societies. A writer on a Theosophist website explains:
“Freemasonry uses allegorical symbols to teach a philosophy concerning the nature of the Creator, the origins of the universe, and humanity’s universal destiny. The religious doctrines in which most people are raised are designed to satisfy the basic needs of the general population. To get a truer understanding of the nature of Deity requires a long-term commitment of study. The Freemasonic initiate is put on the path of this study by being initiated into the fraternity of Masonry, a Westernized religious Mystery school. If the initiate studies the ritual, he will receive, proportionate to his ability to understand, deep mystic revelations regarding the nature of the universe and our mystic journey through it. Freemasonry keeps alive this knowledge from generation to generation until such time as it is understood and accepted by all beings.” “As one grows in the study of Freemasonry, one also grows in the knowledge of all religions. Within all ancient religions the student will discover gnosis: knowledge or fundamental true principles. Truth is learned. From true knowledge, wisdom is born. To be wise is to be godly, and to be godly is to know ourselves, our universe, and our Creator.”
Freemasons take from all religions because all of them have been manipulated and infiltrated by secret societies and the teachings of religions like Hinduism and Buddhism originate from ancient Aryan pagan occult beliefs and practices. The New Age Movement is the more mainstream and popularized version of the occult personality of freemasonry and it too takes from mysticism and occult religions for the purpose of “higher consciousness”, god-like qualities similar to Luciferian beliefs, and spiritual as well as physical evolution of the human state.
The all seeing eye is often called the eye of God or eye of Providence to signify God’s omnipresence and knowledge. What most freemasons like to leave out is the fact that throughout the mystery schools this has been a symbol of Lucifer, or Satan, called different names but nonetheless the same being. Lucifer has been symbolized by gnosis and worshipped by different means represented as star symbols, the sun, a goat, a bull, idols, and child sacrifices. Gnostic myth is the core of their belief systems because in Gnosticism the Creator, or God, is an evil demi-urge who has entrapped humanity in a physical prison and the only way to break free is to eat of the forbidden fruit or “knowledge of good and evil” that Satan tempted Eve to eat. This website explains:
“For those of us who know the occult and the Illuminati very well, the feature that stands out above all others is the All-Seeing Eye. This symbol is the single most important symbol of the Illuminati, for it exemplifies the supernatural power they wield from Lord Lucifer, from Satan himself. As you can see from this symbol on the back of our One Dollar Bill, the typical All-Seeing Eye is depicted in the form of a pyramid, shown here, hovering over the unfinished pyramid representative of the unfinished project of moving the world into the New World Order and staging their Masonic Christ.”
Let me just say that it was never the purpose of this paper to prove a connection between Luciferianism and the mysteries or Freemasonry which it is based on. But I think readers will inevitably ask, ‘So what is so bad about these symbols?’ I will point out the Freemasonic symbols in the work of Revok, Askew, and TSL. I believe that point cannot be refuted. But addressing the question, here are a few quotes from different sources(researchers, Freemasons)on the connection of the Eye of Horus and Luciferianism:
“Symbolism is the language of the Mysteries … By symbols men have ever sought to communicate to each other those thoughts which transcend the limitations of language. Rejecting man-conceived dialects as inadequate and unworthy to perpetuate divine ideas, the Mysteries thus chose symbolism as a far more ingenious and ideal method of preserving their transcendental knowledge. In a single figure a symbol may both reveal and conceal, for to the wise the subject of the symbol is obvious, while to the ignorant the figure remains inscrutable. Hence, he who seeks to unveil the secret doctrine of antiquity must search for that doctrine not upon the open pages of books which might fall into the hands of the unworthy but in the place where it was originally concealed.” Manly P. Hall, The Secret Teachings of All Ages, p. 20As one Masonic book says, “These considerations lead us to an interesting topic, the Eye of Mind or the Eye of Horus … and conveying the idea of the ‘All seeing Eye’. The end set before the Egyptian neophyte was illumination, that is to be ‘brought to light’. The Religion of Egypt was the Religion of the Light”. [Thomas Milton Stewart, The Symbolism fo the Gods of the Egyptians and the Light They Throw on Freemasonry, London, England, Baskerville Press, Ltd., 1927, p. 5]“That which has been shut fast [dead] hath been opened by the command of the Eye of Horus, which hath delivered me. Established are the beauties of the forehead of Ra.” The Pyramid Texts“Come, the Eye of Horus hath delivered for me my soul, my ornaments are established on the brow of Ra. Light is on the faces of those who are in the members of Osiris.” The Pyramid Texts“Perfect is the Eye of Horus. I have delivered the Eye of Horus, the shining one, the ornament of the Eye of Ra, the Father of the Gods.” The Pyramid TextsAn additional section of the Contendings recounts that Horus gave his recovered eye to Osiris as an offering. When Osiris accepted the offering and ate the eye he was given life. Again, the themes connected with the eye of Horus are associated with healing and restoration.
http://www.egyptological.com/2011/04/eye-of-ra-eye-of-horus-1155The All-seeing eye originated in Egypt in those Satanic Mysteries which God physically judged during the time of Moses, when he lead the Israelites out of the land by the mighty hand of God. The All-Seeing Eye was representative of the omniscience of Horus, the Sun God, [Magic Symbols, by Frederick Goodman, p. 103, Satanic symbols book].Anyone who knows their Scripture and thinks of themselves as “Christian” should feel right now like they have been slapped alongside their head with a two-by-four! This Masonic author has just told you that the Light to which Masons constantly refer, and toward which they are to constantly move, is the Religion of Horus! This is damning, because in Egyptian Mythology, Horus IS Lucifer [Former Satanist, William Schnoebelen, Masonry: Byond The Light, p. 197]Like some varieties of Satanism, Luciferianism does not depict the devil as a literal metaphysical entity. Lucifer only symbolizes the cognitive powers of man. He is the embodiment of science and reason. It is the Luciferian’s religious conviction that these two facilitative forces will dethrone God and apotheosize man…According to Masonic scholar Wilmshurst, the completion of human evolution involves man “becoming a god-like being and unifying his consciousness with the Omniscient” (94).http://www.conspiracyarchive.com/Commentary/Luciferianism.htm
I’m sure anyone can find more sources that link the eye of Horus and Egyptian mystery religion to light, restoration, enlightenment, illumination etc. Also, if you look at the second to last picture in my original post you can see the connection of “Knowledge” and illumination within Revok’s piece itself reflecting the ancient mysteries and their preservation and integration into modern Freemasonry.
On the outside Freemasonry is a Christian lodge with the purpose of attaining knowledge and understanding of our reality. But the sinister reality is that freemasonry is a study of the occult mystery religions of ancient Babylon, Egypt, and Greece who were Luciferians. Freemasonry comes from secret societies that have been working towards a totalitarian dictatorship with the justification of human evolution and human knowledge above God. The main source for freemasonry is the ancient Jewish mystic occult text, the Kabbalah. It is unfortunate but not very surprising today that these esoteric symbols are being externalized and exposed to the masses as they are being initiated into the occult philosophies of evil men.
A picture link to The Seventh Letter website displays a masonic symbol. The all seeing eye, symbolizing Lucifer, with wings symbolizing the phoenix rising out of the ashes, a masonic concept that symbolizes the emergence of the New World Order out of chaos. The lightning bolt is an occult symbol as well and could be seen as a symbol for Lucifer falling from Heaven: “And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” Luke 10:18. Notice the masonic checkerboard pattern. This pattern is the one used in the floor tiles of masonic lodges and is a symbolic representation of good and evil, or knowledge of, symbolized by other esoteric symbols like the hexagram, ying/yang, moon and star.
Another symbol used for The Seventh Letter Crew is the octogram represented by straight intersecting lines. This star symbol is also used in the occult and with astrology by psychics and witches. It is known as the star of Isis, or solstice star.
Another very interesting thing to note is that The Seventh Letter Crew are named after a numbered letter. In the Occult, numbers are very important and in the Kabbalah the numbers 9 and 11 hold very esoteric meanings, 13 as well. Not likely to be a coincidence, the seventh letter of the english alphabet is G and the central focus of masonic symbols are the letter G, for the Grand architect, or their vision of God.
The above symbol is an ancient Armenian symbol with the seventh letter of the Armenian alphabet that could likely represent Lucifer because of the fact that it is a star and the rays around it resemble the sun which has been worshiped in different cultures throughout history as Lucifer, son of the morning. The following quotes and pictures from armeniansworld.com explain that the seventh letter has been used to represent God and a trinity:
“Է (Ē) is the seventh letter of the Armenian alphabet. One of the earliest characters of the letter Է (Ē) was found in Metsamor and is dated to ca. 3,000 BCE. This sacred letter as the character standing for Divine Essence was used by the Ar…menian Mithraic priests and continued to be inscribed upon the altars of the Armenian churches after the conversion to Christianity in 301 CE.”
This is a give-away that converters to Christianity did not truly accept the teachings of Christ but instead infiltrated what many believe to be Christianity today, through different churches but mostly the Roman Catholic Vatican.
““Trinity” of Metsamor.
Sky-triangle-cosmic mountain (associate.Anu), to the
right – ” the symbol of four winds” (associate. Enlil),
to the left- ”Է’’(E) ideology (Ea. 3ht millen. BC).”
“On the triangle cosmic mountain the symbol of Է(E)-
Eutyun supreme God is carved on the head of Holly Mother.
There is a 5000 years old chronology between these two Է(E)-s
(Echmiadzin, Holy Temple altar,1992).”
Notice that a mother and son are shown in the picture with the symbolic letter of the trinity. This is not the Christian trinity but the pagan trinity of ancient Babylon and many other mystery religions. The Vatican to this day celebrates pagan holidays, rituals, and encourages prayer to the virgin Mary who they call the “Queen of Heaven.” This prayer and worship of Mary is found nowhere in the Bible. I believe this is not a coincidence and that freemasons do not believe in the traditional sense of God, as many researchers have already written, but represents the star of Lucifer and gnosis.
Freemasonry comes from the Jewish mystic occult books of the Kabbalah and as we look at Seventh Letter Crew pics it will become obvious that the Star of David is not a Jewish symbol but an ancient Egyptian occult hexagram adopted by king Solomon of Babylon and secret societies; used in freemasonry as well today.
The “Star of David” is Pagan and this site among many other sources explains:
The so-called “Star of David” is essentially a “hexagram,” nothing more, nothing less. There is no Biblical or Jewish evidence that traces this ancient occult symbol with king David of Israel. However, there is evidence that it was used by king Solomon, after he turned to pagan gods and the occult, late in his life, causing God to become very angry with him.
“Survival of the Fittest.” This quote is a favorite among Darwinists coined by Herbert Spencer after reading Darwin’s Evolution Theory. The elites justify totalitarian rule by the elite through Darwinism and it has been put to use through Marxism/Communism, Nazism, Fascism, and Neo-Jacobinism in Democracy via the Hegelian Dialectic. The fact that Revok and friends support the efforts of Occupy Wall Street which is a protest group bringing forth protesters around the country and is mostly a socialist and even communist effort to revolt and bring down the capitalist system that has been artificially and purposely corrupted from within by the IRS, Federal Reserve, and a monopoly on government officials and politicians bought by Wall st, is interesting when you take in the wider lens of the TSL symbolism/ideology.
It’s not hard to see the hexagram inside this Seventh Letter crew logo. More detailed info has been written by historians and occult researchers like Texe Marrs, Phillip D. Collins, Chuck Missler, and is out there if searched for. A quick summary of the connections between the Kabbalah and freemasonry is available on this freemason website.
Anyway here are more Freemasonry inspired shirts from Seventh Letter
The Ying and Yang symbol is a representation of the union of good(light) and evil(dark). For some reason Taoists and Occultists think one needs the other and vice versa; for perfect balance and harmony. This is a Luciferian concept and can always be traced to the beginning when Satan tempted Eve to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. This concept is embodied in other symbols representing duality, good and evil, physical and spiritual, female and male, and human and angel. In freemasonry this union is known as Alchemy and is important to the New World Order. Symbols like this are also in freemasonry like the two columns, the black and white checkered floor, the depiction of baphomet who is man and woman shown with the sun and moon and “as above, so below” hand signs. But the oldest after the Genesis account is the symbol of the up pointed triangle in union with the down pointed triangle making the hexagram. This article has some info on the ying and yang symbol:
“The yin-yang symbol (in the photo to the left) can be seen almost any place one looks. It is used in logos, on book covers, in the New Age movement, in the martial arts, by Wiccans, by the homosexual community, and so forth. “Yin and yang are considered to be opposites (opposing forces). Yin represents eternity, dark, feminine, left side of the body, etc. Yang is its opposite and represents history, light, masculine, right side of the body, etc.” “Yang is male, positive, and represented by the Sun. Yin is female, negative, and represented by the Moon,” says Paul E. Desautels in The Gem Kingdom.
Yin / Yang (Dualism) is the underlying Satanic doctrine behind all of the following FALSE religions: Cheng-I, Chuan-Chen, Chen-Ta-Tao, Chuang Tzu, Fang-Shih, Five Elements, Five Pecks of Rice, Hsuan Hsueh, Lao Tzu, Lieh Tzu, Ling-Pao, Northern Heavenly Masters, Peng-Lai, Shang Ching Mao Shan sect, Southern Heavenly Master, Tai Ping Tao/Yellow Turbans, Tai-i, Tien Shih Tao (The Way of the Heavenly Master), Wicca, Wu-tou-Mi-Tao (Five Pecks of Rice), and Taoism.“
This concept of duality is found among many occult symbols infiltrating Christianity, propagated by false religions and the New Age Movement. One of the occult’s most infamous symbols full of duality, Baphomet:
This shirt is a depiction of the symbol known as the “hand of God” by Jewish mystics and Kabbalists. The all seeing eye is in the middle. Famous pop artists who have studied the Kabbalah like Natalie Portman, Madonna, and Britney Spears have been seen wearing esoteric tattoos and jewelery.
The all seeing eye is popular in the mainstream as well:
Askew acknowledges that the Illuminati all seeing eye is associated with conspiracy theories and ancient religions. But he calls it the “eye of Providence” and “eye of God.” Either he remains ignorant of it’s true origins and meaning or he is well aware and is intentionally exposing his “fans” to this esoteric symbol of the elite as many other men and woman of fame in the mainstream have also propagated it in music videos, clothing, and movies. It’s interesting to note the music Revok posts on his blog as well. I haven’t taken the time to listen to it, nor do i wish to but just skimming through the videos I saw a few that have a New Age vibe to them…ew
And here are just a few examples of other clothing and art in pop culture featuring occult phrases and symbols.
Seventh Letter symbols and jewelery is similar to the charms and talismans used by Jewish Mystics. Freemasons are also known to sport rings with their square and compass symbols on them.
Askew MSK seems to know what’s up in regard to the all seeing eye that he continues to use in his pieces and designs. He acknowledges it is linked to conspiracy theories about secret societies and he is mistaken in stating that it is a Christian symbol although it has been used by false christian churches resulting from early pagan conversion to Christianity. Askew is either ignorant of the true occult significance of this ancient esoteric and now elitist symbol, or he is simply sugar coating and leaving out the facts.
‘The Eye Of Providence’ or ‘The All Seeing Eye Of God’ has its origins in religious imagery occurring in Egyptian mythology (The Eye Of Horus), Buddhism and Christianity (The Holy Trinity). Since 1782 it has featured on the reverse of the ‘Great Seal Of The United States’ and since 1935 appeared on the US one dollar bill. Most people would generally make the association with the ‘Freemasonry’ but more specifically ‘Masonic Conspiracies’. These conspiracies generally centre on politics (One World Order), religion (accusations of satanic practice) and culture (numerology and Masonic symbolism in corporate logos and entertainment).
Here Askew seems to make an incorrect connection between Christianity, or the teachings of the Bible from Christ, and the all seeing “eye of God” which he says represents the Holy Trinity. This is false and a study of mystery school occult doctrine and pagan beliefs reveal that this “Holy Trinity” if called this, is a pagan trinity that has snaked it’s way into the Roman Catholic Church from ancient pagan religions that started with Nimrod, his son, and his wife in ancient Babylon. He seems to make a theoretical connection between freemasons and New World order politics in governement and satanism, “accusations of satanic practice” but this would be a mere one dimensional interpretation of the Luciferian-Freemasonic connection. I believe the spiritual conspiracy is the true essence of this “conspiracy” and that the New Age movement’s false teachings should be brought up as well. It may be that his research hasn’t brought him to these theories or conclusions as many in the “truther” movement have halted progress when coming across the seductive New Age theologies. Askew also writes on his use and creation of his “pyramid dude”:
A healthy scepticism of mainstream media was a major motivator in my adoption of ‘The Eye’ into my art. Realising how skewed ratings-driven news media is as a concept I started to grow a real disdain for it. I also started to observe trends in our local media where sensationalist headlines tended to drive public opinion so much that it allowed highly ‘draconian’ legislation to be passed very easily. It seemed to me that if the ‘powers that be’ dress something up in the right clothes to make it a palatable concept, anything is possible. It’s political engineering and perhaps local media isn’t always as separate from that process as it should be. From this observation was where my initial ‘Pyramid Dude’ drawings drew inspiration.
I can see why Askew would decide to dress up this Illuminati eye in a innocence-appealing cartoon style; a characterization of the media’s sugarcoated ideologies and propagated symbolism. I can agree with Askew on this but I personally do not agree with the continuous use of this occult image that from what he has acknowledged has snaked its way into the mainstream media and corporate logos. To use it a few times to make a statement, i see, but to use it continuously even in a propaganda-like manner under the veil of curious intrigue? Has Askew made the symbol his own trademark and joined the palette of “Masonic symbolism in corporate logos and entertainment”; in his own words..? Askew seems to want to walk the line very closely addressing “conspiracy theories”, describing his curiousity as simply “A healthy skepticism..”, distancing himself from what the media might call “conspiracy nuts.”
Is his use of this esoteric symbol really any different than if i decided to incorporate the satanic inverted pentagram, or an image of the occult goat-man baphomet into my artwork? Continuously? Is it different becuase the all seeing eye has enjoyed more propagated media exposure and acceptance by its integration into religions and societies? But does that change the fact that it is an occult symbol from pagan Egypt, and today can be seen in freemasonry alongside the satanic hexagram? These are the real questions that should be addressed and to jump on the bandwagon and continue its use and externalization, exposing it to the occult-uneducated youth just seems wrong. Askew’s adoption of this symbol maked more sense after reading his testimony on his experiences and further favor to follow this path:
I can’t help but feeling like this movement is at the dawn of a new age. I’m excited at the idea of writers digging that little bit deeper, searching for the depth we are so often accused of lacking. My peers and I are always honing our practise, our technique but most importantly the time has come to further define the thought and process behind the paintings.
This statement is not surprising yet very revealing because of the psychedelic-like free nature of his work and use of vibrant colors and movement. Links between psychedelic drugs, the hippie movement of the 70′s, and the New Age today are strong. Freemasons like Albert Pike and New Agers like Alice Bailey have revealed their society’s common goals for the implementation of a New World Order, a New Age, a “spiritual awakening” and transformation. I may be looking into this statement a bit much but given the context of his work and possible masonic influence it may not be far from the truth that Askew does in fact hold New Age beliefs, as well as Revok. This would not be surprising given the line between the New Age and Freemasonry and the above artists’ use of Freemasonic symbolism.
Furthermore it is ironic that Askew finds an image on the net to use for a piece which had a shady hand from the shadows playing the puppeteer pulling the strings of the puppet-like faceless servant. Askew incorporates this image and idea into his piece all while using the all seeing eye character in a big menacing stance unknowingly furthering the agenda of the elites and their indoctrination and initiation of the masses into their occult symbolic theology which continues to take place in all areas of society.
In the above work Askew even states his intention to incorporate not only the all seeing eye but the cross, and the “Star of David” as well. He must really like religion! Or the occult mysteries:
This was a more serious work done as a commission. It started as a series of pencil and ink drawings with studies of various plays on the ‘Eye Of Providence’ and the popular conspiracies connected with power, money, faith and apocalypse. The central image features several intersecting symbols -‘The cross’, ‘The Star Of David’, ‘The Eye Of Providence’ and the pyramid itself is built from the words ‘The Mighty Dollar’, obviously a play on ‘TMD’.
If there was interest in “religious” and “conspiracy” imagery then why not present it in a way that isn’t so…in tune with the occult? The fact is researchers have written on the ancient religions and their use of symbols like the cross, hexagram, eye of Horus, and have shown that these symbols were transferred over to monotheism from pagan conversion. In this sense you can say the “Christian” cross is not necessarily, a christian symbol. Crosses were used in ancient Egyptian religion along with the hexagram, and eye of Horus! Another quote from Askew written in January 2010:
I’m trying to direct this post into some sort of conclusion and bring closure to this particular body of work but to be honest it’s pretty open ended and due to continue. The main purpose of these series of posts was to identify some type of origin to the ‘awakening’ I experienced and my first forays into bringing some extra meaning to my paintings.
More New Age vocabulary? It seems so. From what i have seen online Askew has continued to incorporate the all seeing “eye of Lucifer” into his pieces and this one from mid 2011 is proof:
Askew images and quotes from his blog.
So to conclude this essay, I have to say from the symbolism I’ve seen in The Seventh Letter Crew’s artwork and clothing I hold the belief that Revok and Askew and probably others have studied Freemasonry or been affected by its externalization in mainstream culture to an extent where they decided to integrate it into their work. They also seem to hold beliefs commonly echoed in the New Age movement and may or may not be knowingly using these occult, esoteric symbols in their work, either with or without a less than genuine purpose. Regardless, these are Freemasonic symbols and it will affect many fans of their work who will see them and anyone who has been on an MSK gallery forum will tell you they have a strong influence in other artists and writers’ work. Maybe they do not realize they have in fact contributed to the overall American Luciferian indoctrination and demoralization edified by Darwinism, Tv shows, Art, music, Sci-Fi movies, and Hollywood Films.
